Vikas Ratna is a Director of Product Management in the Cisco Cloud & Compute organization and leads a global team responsible for the Cisco UCS Blade, UCS Fabric, and the newly launched UCS X-Series portfolio.
Vikas brings more than two decades of product management and engineering leadership experience across a diverse set of technologies and industries. Previous to his current role, Vikas was responsible for strategy, product management, and go-to-market programs for Cisco’s AI/ML infrastructure as well as the hyperconverged infrastructure products, both multibillion-dollar markets.
Before joining Cisco, Vikas had extensive experience in advanced storage and storage networking at companies including Intel, Violin Memory, FalconStor, Maxtor, and Quantum. Vikas joined Quantum through the acquisition of Agglut Technology, a company he co-founded. Agglut developed continuous data protection (backup) solutions for small- and medium-sized companies. Vikas served as the head of engineering and product management.
Vikas lives in Fremont with his wife and two kids. In his personal time, Vikas loves to read up on emerging technology trends and catch up on sports, especially cricket. Vikas also enjoys working with kids and is a mentor/coach of FLL (Robotics) team.
